This Project Is a Victory For Ogbomosoland, Says Minister Sunday Dare. The Federal Government of Nigeria on Monday flagged off road improvement and erosion control projects in Ogbomoso, Oyo State. In all, the funding for the projects is worth over a Billion Naira. Speaking at the event, the Permanent Secretary of the Office of Ecological Projects, Dr Habiba Lawal, who was represented by the Director of Media and Publicity, Dr Joel Oruche said the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare played a prominent role in attracting Government's intervention to Ogbomoso. Dr Lawal also enjoined the people of Ogbomoso to cooperate with the contractor and engineers handling the projects for efficient and a timely service delivery. The roads to be worked on are; Adebayose Idowu-Dare Street, off Ado Alaamo; Olusegun Obasanjo Way; 1004 Theater Road; R.Bello Road and Muneer Ibrahim Crescent. All in Ogbomoso.   Shittu Olaitan Abede (SOA) has concluded the training of 200 students and youths across Ogbomoso North of Oyo State, on Microsoft Skills. The training centered on 21st Century Learning Design, Education Transformation Framework and Creating a Digitally Inclined Learning Community. The trainees were drawn from both private and public schools, also youths in tertiary institutions and those seeking admission to tertiary institutions. The 200 hundred trainees were said to be the first batch of the 1000 set to benefit from the opportunity, as it is imperative to take learning through the digital platforms, in order to flow along with the digital transformation, launch into digital economy, using ICT as a bridge to link education with innovation, and creating a product to solve societal problems.    The success recorded at the 2020 Nigeria medical Association(NMA) Games is a testimony to the fact that Nigerian doctors are versatile. Prof. Innocent Ujah(MNI) President NMA who made this submission at the closing ceremony of the games in Abuja also hailed his colleagues for a successful games despite challenges posted by covid -19. "This event is a demonstration that doctors are versatile, they can play games, treat patients, whatever you give them they will do it. "NMA is a determined professional association, despite the financial challenges and covid 19 we have had a successful game," a visibly elated Ujah told journalist in Abuja.
