Flying Eagles winger, Kingsley James said the experience he gained with the team will spur him to improve his performances, when he returns back to his base in England. Kingsley was part of the 25-Man squad to Morocco, for the CAF U20 African Nations Cup, in Egypt. He hopes to be part of the team to Indonesia at the FIFA U20 World Cup, if the Flying Eagles pick the ticket at the U20 AFCON. He said the coach of the team, Ladan Bosso told him that he is still part of his plans for the World Cup, adding that he was dropped not because he wasn’t good enough, but because the AFCON needs experienced African players. "I am happy and grateful to be part of the players that made the 25-man list to Morocco. Making the team to Morocco is a big achievement for me. Nigeria's U-23 Olympic Eagles Star, Promise David says he is in Cloud 7, after joining Nõmme Kalju FC of Estonia, on a three year deal. David, who joined from Siren FC of Malta told www.ckdmedia.ng that Kalju FC is his third professional club in Europe, and it is truly awesome for him.  He said he feels truly at home since arriving at Kalju, where he has been  the toast of most of the fans.  According to the Nigeria International, his attention was first drawn to Kalju before he moved to Malta to join his last club, but he has kept tabs with the club and is fully aware of its ambition and expectations. Former Minister for Sports and Youth Development, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, has been told to take caution after he misinformed the public as to why  Sunday Dare replaced the League Management Company LMC with Interim Management Committee (IMC) to take charge of Nigeria, top-flight league. A former member on the board of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL), name withheld, said that it was unwarranted of Abdullahi after he made such an unguarded statement on Dare regarding the IMC and his achievements.  "The emergence of the IMC by NFF was good riddance to bad rubbish. Kingsley James is one of the the wingers, still in the 25-Man provisional list of Flying Eagles players, which will further pruned to a final list of 21players, in adherence to the registrations, by FIFA and CAF for the upcoming Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations, to be hosted in Egypt.  At 18 years, Kingsley James presently plys his trade with Coventry City's International Academy, in the United Kingdom, and is one of the surviving foreign based players, still in the team, that left for Accra Ghana, enroute Morocco on Thursday. His strong desire to play for his fatherland came to reality when he got Coach Ladan Bosso's invitation to the Flying Eagles Camp. The Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare has urged the 2022 Batch A Stream I to make the most out of the knowledge, experiences and skills acquired, in the course of their one year Compulsory National Youth Service. The Youth Minister said this today 2nd February 2023, at Osogbo, the state capital of Osun State, while interacting with some Corps Members, who just had their Passing Out Parade (POP) and have been awarded Certificates of National Service, after successfully completing the one year mandatory National Sevice.
