Shittu Olaitan Abede (SOA) Splashs ₦1million On Party Members As Christmas And New Year Gift.

 Shittu Olaitan Abede (SOA) fondly called 'Ire A Kari' has dashed out ₦1million to APC Party members in Ogbomoso North Local Government through his foundation, Shittu Olaitan Foundation (SOF) as part of his Christmas and New Year give away.

Shittu who hails from Abogunde Ward 01 in Ogbomoso North LG surprised 100 members of APC with a minimum of #10,000 each. 

The event which held on Monday in Ogbomoso at the office of Honourable Minister of Youth and sports development, Chief Sunday Dare was witnessed by thousands of APC party Leaders and members across Ogbomosho zone.

Towards supporting the indigent Constituents in Ogbomoso north LGA, Speaking during the disbursement exercise, Hon Shittu Olaitan Abdulfatai (SOA), emphasized the need to come on board to help the less privileged in the society, regardless of how minute the cash succor may be. 

A minimum of N5,000 was donated to each of the hundreds of beneficiaries.

He noted that despite the challenging economic situation in the country, interventions in the areas of access to sound and quality education, provision of scholarships for students, as well as, supporting the youths and women development must be paramount on the agenda of the government.

During the course of the gathering, Federation of Ogbomoso Students’ Union (FOGSU) National Council, led by their serving Excos identified with SOA, and presented him a meritorious award, tagged after his contributions to educating the young minds in Ogbomoso zone. 

Addressing the press at the event and in appreciation of the award presented to him, Shittu Olaitan noted that, his foundation will register 100 jamb candidates in Ogbomoso north LGA and also organise academics tutorials to further encourage their performances.

SOA Foundation, as a privately funded not- for- profit philanthropic organization, has balanced the odds by putting smiles on the faces of hitherto despondent and hopeless Ogbomoso Constituents. 

Some of those who will be the beneficiaries of this academic benevolence gesture will in future becomes Pharmacists, Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, among others.

He rounded up his press statement by saying, this gesture is purely humanitarian, and hereby urged philanthropists and all elites, to help the underprivileged out of extreme poverty and want, the poor and vulnerable citizens across this electoral district, Ogbomoso North to access better life and quality education.

In a separate gathering, aftermath the giveaway event with party leaders, ward chairmen, and women leaders, he also doled out several bags of rice and cash for celebrating the festivity, with the Chairman and Womem Leaders of APC Ogbomoso north LGA repectively.
