Oyo Decide 2023: Shittu Olaitan Abede (SOA) Congratulates Gov. Seyi Makinde:

Delivers Polling Unit, Ward and Local Government for Seyi Makinde


Hon. Shittu Olaitan Abede (SOA) has congratulated the Oyo State Governor Elect, the Executive Governor of Oyo State Engr. Seyi Makinde on his landslide victory, in the March 18 Gubernatorial Election.

SOA described Engr Seyi Makinde's victory as an act of God, defied of human calculation and comprehension, stating that, this victory is for the masses in Oyo State, as they have just spoken with their votes, and have chosen the best man to pilot the affairs of Oyo State, for the next four years.

He further stressed the need for other candidates to join hands with the Governor Elect, so as to move the Pace Setter state to the next level, in terms of progress, prosperity,  infrastructural development, improved security, welfare, economic growth, job creation, sustainable development.

The Accord party Candidate for Federal House of Representatives in the  February 25th National Assembly Elections congratulated the entire citizens of Oyo State, for making the right and best decision, not allowing shenanigans to force themselves into power against their wishes.

SOA quipped, that the result of the election is a true representation of the wishes of people, aspiring for continuity,  having enjoined accelerated development of Omituntun 1.0, and yearning for sustainable development, tagged Omituntun 2.0.

He however advised the Governor Elect to be magnanimous in victory, and improve on much people-oriented initiatives, which earned him the votes and mandate of the good people of Oyo, even for the second term. 

SOA prayed that, God will give Engr. Seyi Makinde the strength, wisdom, capacity, best hands and heads, capital and human resources to move Oyo State to the zenith, as we begin another journey for sustainable development.

Congratulations Engr. Seyi Makinde, and the entire Oyo State.

Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control.
