[Ogbomoso, March 1st, 2024] 

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs Ruth Olanihun Dare, the beloved mother of Chief Sunday Akin Dare CON, FNIS, the Immediate Past Minister of Youth and Sports Development and AGBAAKIN OF Ogbomoso Land. 

Mama Dare peacefully departed this earth on February 29, 2024, at the age of 92.

Mama was not only a devoted mother but also a pillar of strength and kindness within her family, community, and nation. Her life was a testament to grace, compassion, and unwavering dedication.

Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her loved ones and the wider community. Her legacy of love and wisdom will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family humbly requests prayers and support during this difficult time as they mourn the loss of their beloved matriarch.

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control.
