OGO-OLUWA LG- Council Chair, Hon. Oluwaseun Ojo Begins Rehabilitation of Roads Across the Council Area:

The Executive Chairman of Ogo-Oluwa Local Government, Honourable Oluwaseun Adesoye Ojo has flagged off the rehabilitation of roads across the ten wards of the Local Government Area.

The rehabilitation of roads, which started on Friday 28th December 2024, was an exciting experience for the people of Ogo-Oluwa LG, serving as a good package to start the new year.

The grading activities were seen through Alagbon and Obaniswa areas of ward 2, and Ayede within ward 3.

Also, continued through Idewure of ward 5, Iwo Ate of Ward 7, and Odo Oba of ward 8.

Ward 9 was also impacted by the grading, from Winners to Temidire and Opete, linking to otamokun in Ward 10, as the remaining wards are expected to be graded simultaneously.

The rehabilitation of roads across the Local Government is part of the efforts of the Honourable Oluwaseun Ojo's administration to open up the local government areas, making the roads accessible, widening the networks of roads for easy transportation and movement of farm produce;

To further boost the agricultural and socio-economic development of the local government; deepening intra-connectivity within the rural areas and interconnectivity between the rural and urban areas.

The present leadership Ogo-Oluwa Local Government is committed to infrastructural development, which will no doubt, set the pace for sustainable development and increased Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

With this life transforming projects, the people of Ogo-Oluwa Local Government should expect better and more dividends of democracy and effective administration, as such in education, health, economy, agriculture, real estate and other spheres of life.

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. President Tinubu Approves the Completion of the Dualization of the Oyo-Ogbomoso road- Sunday Dare Reveals:

President Tinubu has approved the completion of the dualization of the Oyo-Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State, Monday 3rd March 2025. The approval was revealed by the Special Adviser to President (Media and Public Communications), Chief Sunday Dare CON FNIS, in a release he made available on his X account, after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Monday afternoon. The newly approved road completion project, which will now be handled by Mssrs JRB Construction Co.
