Federal Poly Ile-Oluji gets New Council Chair, Barrister Ademubowale Mercy Adelabu:


Barrister Ademubowale Mercy Adelabu has been appointed as the new Council Chairman, Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji (FEDPOLEL).

The appointment of Bar. Mubo Adelabu was made available in a release on the website of FEDPOLEL, signed by the Senior Assistant Registrar, for the Deputy Registrar, Information Protocol and Passages; stating that;

"The new Council Chairman is Hon. Barr. (Mrs.) Ademubowale Mercy Adelabu, who up until her appointment, was the Governing Council Chairman of Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Ogbomosho Oyo- state.

Hon. Barr. (Mrs.) Ademubowale Mercy Adelabu is a seasoned legal practitioner of close to two decades of practical experience in leadership roles, interpersonal relations, soliciting, litigation and mediation advocacy. She has a vast knowledge of corporate and property laws, a counselor, meticulous administrator, a grass root politician and mobilizer, leader and strong character reformer for a better society. She is a human rights advocate particularly with respect to the protection of the rights of women, young adults and children. She is objective, proactive, solution driven and committed to genuinely establishing strong and sustainable institutional systems.

She is also the current Vice Chairperson of International Federation of Women Lawyers Association (FIDA), Oyo Branch and a member of the Nigeria Bar Association (Ibadan branch) serving in the disciplinary committee, she is likewise a member of the Certified Institute of Auctioneers Nigeria (CIAN). The release concluded by congratulating Barr. (Mrs.) Ademubowale Mercy Adelabu, on her appointment while welcoming and specially looking forward to working with her, as the new Governing Council Chairman of Federal Polytechnic Ile Oluji.

The Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji was established on July, 2014 via a presidential pronouncement. It however took off effectively in April, 2015. On Monday 5th June, 2017 The SIWES unit was established in Accordance with the national Board for technical education (NBTE) guidelines.

Barr. Ademubowale Mercy Adelabu, was the Council Chairman, Federal Polytechnic Ayede-Ogbomoso, till her reappointment.

President Tinubu has approved the completion of the dualization of the Oyo-Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State, Monday 3rd March 2025.
