29th Year Anniversary: Ogbomoso Togetherness Youths' Forum World-wide to Honor Ogbomoso Sons and Daughters in North America (OSDNA):

The Ogbomoso Togetherness Youth's Forum plans to bestow a befitting award on Ogbomoso sons and daughters in North America on his 29th Anniversary for their development strides in Ogbomosoland, recognizing their contributions to the city's growth and progress.

This initiative acknowledges the efforts of individuals who have made significant impacts on Ogbomosho's development, particularly those residing in North America. The Ogbomosho Sons and Daughters in North America (OSDNA) organization, established in 1996, has been actively involved in various development projects, including, 

- *Providing potable drinking water*: Installing boreholes in different parts of Ogbomosho

-  Offering full-ride scholarships to students and donating educational materials to institutions

- *Healthcare*: Supporting the Ogbomoso Baptist Medical Center/Hospital and other healthcare initiatives

- *Community development*: Donating essential items to vulnerable groups, such as widows, people living with disabilities, and the elderly people's.

- Financial Support to Ogbomoso Marathon Race Maiden Edition in 2020 under the auspices of Ogbomoso Togetherness Youth's Forum Worldwide.

- The Ogbomoso Son's And Daugther's in Northern America has also partnered with organizations like TWINSDAD FOUNDATION And AWO FOUNDATION to alleviated hunger and bring relief to those facing economic challenges. Their efforts demonstrate the potential for collective action and kindness to drive positive change in Ogbomoso.

Ogbomosho, a city in Oyo State, Nigeria, is known for its rich cultural heritage, historic landmarks, and vibrant community. The city's development efforts are likely focused on preserving its cultural identity while embracing modernization.

The award is meant to;

- *Recognize outstanding contributions*: Honor individuals or organizations that have made significant impacts on Ogbomosho's development.

- *Encourage community engagement*: Foster a sense of community and social responsibility among residents.

- *Promote Ogbomosho's growth*: Highlight the city's potential and attract opportunities for further development.
