Bolaji climbed to the summit of the global rankings with 63,950 points, displacing Indonesia’s Qonitah Ikhtiar Syakuroh, following her outstanding performance at the World Para Badminton Championships where she reached the final and claimed a silver medal.  In doing so, she also became the first African athlete to play in the final of the World Championships in para-badminton. The National Para Games is an annual multi-sport event organized by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the NSC.
