2022... The Year of Limitless Possibilities- Prince John Aremu


Dear Oyo APC Youths, 

I welcome you into Year 2022 with high and valid hopes of the opportunities we are taking this year and beyond. This is our time to step up beyond mere talks and take charge of the thousand possibilities that abound in our party, State and nation. 

I congratulate you for belonging to the All Progressives Congress, the APC, a party whose values and tenets are built to drive the progress of our dear Nation Nigeria. 

I tag 2022 a year of limitless possibilities because it is the year to consolidate on the hardwork we have put into this party over the years and make it count. 

In the demography of Oyo Youths, APC parades the choicest and most intelligent crop of modest personalities, professionals and omoluabis like no other party. This is a strength and pride no one can take away from us. 

2022 is the start of a new election cycle in Oyo State. This is the time we must present a United front as we work hard to take our state back in 2023. The Peace and security we enjoyed in Oyo between 2011-2019 under the APC is now history, we must bring it back.

As the year unfolds, let us saturate the political space with hope and unity. 

A victorious 2023 is achievable only when we put Oyo APC First. With hope and unity, we will emerge victorious because we carry the energy of a thousand possibilities. 

I must thank all Oyo APC leaders, the father of youths in Nigeria; Chief Sunday Dare and other youth stakeholders for their continued support by amplifying our voices and considering our interests in the party. 

I wish us a prosperous 2022.

LG Autonomy: Makinde Devices Another Means to Swindle LG Funds:

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank. The directives were given to ensure persistent manipulation of LG funds, which has been the order of the day for so long a time, as the Oyo State Governor asked the Chairmen to submit the newly opened First Bank accounts for payment of allocation, even as previous LG accounts with First Bank remains active. President Tinubu Approves the Completion of the Dualization of the Oyo-Ogbomoso road- Sunday Dare Reveals:

President Tinubu has approved the completion of the dualization of the Oyo-Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State, Monday 3rd March 2025. The approval was revealed by the Special Adviser to President (Media and Public Communications), Chief Sunday Dare CON FNIS, in a release he made available on his X account, after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Monday afternoon. The newly approved road completion project, which will now be handled by Mssrs JRB Construction Co. Ltd, has a total cost of N147, 887,810,833,.87.   Recall that some weeks ago, the contract of the road project was terminated, as a result of abandonment and long term lagging; to which the President promised to re-award soon, this has now been fulfilled.
