Spurred by the Hope in what the Future Holds for us, I am Encouraged to Join the APC Zonal Youth Leader Race

 

Dear Friends and fellow APC Youth, I have been on this journey for the past few months, consulting with party leaders and making sure that I walk the talk in encouraging the youth into leadership and elective positions.  

I am confident that with faith and courage in the abilities we possess, we must not only talk about leadership, but we must start showing up when there is a call for leaders to assemble. 

More than ever before, there’s no better time to do that than now. 

Spurred by the hope in what the future holds for us, I am encouraged to join the APC Zonal Youth Leader race and put in my best efforts to give quality and inclusive representation to our youth in the Southwest. 

I seek your support to make this journey successful.

LG Autonomy: Makinde Devices Another Means to Swindle LG Funds:

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank. The directives were given to ensure persistent manipulation of LG funds, which has been the order of the day for so long a time, as the Oyo State Governor asked the Chairmen to submit the newly opened First Bank accounts for payment of allocation, even as previous LG accounts with First Bank remains active.
