Late Entrants, External and Outside Forces should Steer Clear

As attempt to impose another aspirant is rejected, 

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland, Chief Sunday Akin Dare has thrown his weight behind Shittu Olaitan Abdulfatah (SOA) for Ogbomoso North House of Assembly seat.

Many political leaders have decried the late attempt by some elements from outside Ogbomoso North to interfere and impose a late entrant candidate.

“we do not interfere in Ibadan Local Governments. We do not interfere elsewhere. We are surprised some poeple want to impose candidates on us in Ogbomosho North.

“The Minister is our leader and we follow and support him on the candidacy of Shittu for Ogbomoso North” one of the youth leaders said.

Shittu Olaitan Abdulfatah (SOA) is from the famous Abede compound, is the grandson of one of the founding fathers of Ogbomoso land. An astute media practitioner and a grassroots politician. Shittu declared his aspiration in 2021 when he reached out to party faithful in all 10 wards of Ogbomoso North Local Government.

Now endorsed by Chief Sunday Dare, Shittu Olaitan Abdulfatah (SOA) is moving in strongly as the aspirant to contend with for the ticket of Ogbomoso North State Constituency seat.

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank. President Tinubu Approves the Completion of the Dualization of the Oyo-Ogbomoso road- Sunday Dare Reveals:

President Tinubu has approved the completion of the dualization of the Oyo-Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State, Monday 3rd March 2025. The approval was revealed by the Special Adviser to President (Media and Public Communications), Chief Sunday Dare CON FNIS, in a release he made available on his X account, after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Monday afternoon. The newly approved road completion project, which will now be handled by Mssrs JRB Construction Co.
