Congratulations, Asaaju Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oloye Teslim Folarin

The installation of Oloye Teslim Folarin as the Asaaju Olubadan of Ibadanland today by the Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun is a confirmation of his immense contribution to the growth and development of Ibadan land. 

Senator Folarin even before his stint in politics has been committed to the growth of Ibadan and has never relented despite the huge demand attached to political offices.

He has continued to empower youths, men, and women of Ibadan descendancy by facilitating jobs, skill acquisition programmes, and direct financial empowerment among others. 

I congratulate him on behalf of all progressive youths in Oyo State as he adds another feather to his cap. We are certain this promotion will propel him to do more for the Ibadan land in his official and personal capacity.

LG Autonomy: Makinde Devices Another Means to Swindle LG Funds:

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank.
