Federal Government Distributes Food Relief in Oyo State:

The Federal Government of Nigeria has, on the 29th day of July 2022, started the  distribution of Free Food Relief to the people of Oyo State.

Distribution of the food relief was part of the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari, through the Hon. Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare, to cushion the effects of food scarcity and hike in the prices of commodities.

The Food Relief, which was brought to Oyo State, through Chief Sunday Dare, had the pilot stage kicked off in Ogbomoso zone, while other zones (Ibarapa, Oyo, Ibadan Less City, Ibadan City, Oke-Ogun I, Oke-Ogun II) of Oyo State are to receive in coming days.

Present at the venue of the food relief distribution, DAD Foundation Ogbomoso Office, as anchored by the representative of  Chief Sunday Dare,  Chief Ademola Olawale (AGBA DEMO), are All Progressives Congress (APC) party stalwarts, Ogbomoso North APC Chairman, Alhaji Raimi Agunyanmole, other Chairmen, members, Leaders of communities, Societies, associations, and prominent people across the five Local Governments (Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, Ogo Oluwa, Surulere and Oriire) making up Ogbomoso Zones.

The distribution of Free Food Relief, is another kind gesture by Chief Sunday Dare, who has, over the years been providing relief packages for the people of Oyo State in different times of need, as and when due, as such Covid-19 relief, relief to Oyo State Market Women, to mention just a few, and more still coming.

LG Autonomy: Makinde Devices Another Means to Swindle LG Funds:

Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds.
