Oyo State APC Reconciliation Move Turned to Campaign of Calumny:

The Oyo State APC Reconciliation Committee, when constituted, was greeted with suspicion, doubts and insincerity of purpose by many concerned and aggrieved members of the party across the state.

Some referred to the Oyo State APC Reconciliation Committee as 'ill conceived, dead on arrival'.

Just so, the Oyo State APC Reconciliation Committee has proven to lack focus, entertaining disunity and fuelling discord, even on the altar of reconciliation.

The committee has been so factional, and refused to carry along all members and stakeholders, lacking a wholistic approach to conflict resolution and problem solving.

One of the short falls of the committee has just been released by premiumtimes.ng yesterday, 12 July 2022; for the committee to have allowed such be put in the public space, it's an attestation to the lack of focus, and insincerity of purpose.

Premiumtimes.ng, in the publication titled  "APC Reconciliation Committee Moves to Reconcile Aggrieved Members in Ogbomoso" quoted one Hon. Tunde Oloyede, a factional APC Senatorial Chairman for Oyo North, In his words, he was said to have stated before the reconciliation committee as thus:

“We have a Minister who has never contributed to the success of the party in Ogbomoso North Local Government ever since he was sworn in, unlike others, he has not given the party a din since he came on board. Instead he is using the money he is getting from the party to cause disunity in the party”, this was also posted by a Facebook account Alabi Tunji Micheal II.

It is quiet disturbing, for a committee that is seeking to reconcile party members, to have allowed such to happen. Is that a measure for reconciliation?

Allowing a serial defector like Tunde Oloyede tarnishing and soiling the image of the party is one of the issues that have brought the APC Oyo State to where we are today. The same Sunday Dare his camp claimed is unknown and irrelevant, you are still disrespecting; quite out of place!

Setting the record straight, Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare is a founding father of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria, with giant strides and doesn't believe in blowing his trumpet by himself, unlike others.

There are so much positive contributions and impacts documented, written and credited to Chief Sunday Dare's name, in Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso zone, Oyo State, South West and Nigeria at large; 

Chief Dare has been making sacrifices, paying his dues for the party, to the level of paying the annual rent of the Party house in Ogbomoso North LG and giving out relief funds to party faithfuls, before people like Tunde Oloyede started tearing the party apart,  

He has facilitated a lot of projects to Ogbomoso, using his network and personal funds, (link: https://eintegratedservices.blogspot.com/2022/07/sunday-akin-dare-and-his-impacts.html).

The likes of Tunde Oloyede should seek to satisfy their stomach infrastructure projects elsewhere, not even by disrespecting a major gladiator and stakeholder of national repute. 

The attentions of the Oyo State APC Chairman, Hon. Isaac Omodewu; Chairman Oyo State APC Reconciliation Committee, Senator Femi Lanlehin, are needed to call these elements of discord to order, bring a stop to this kind of odds, to prove that the reconciliation move is genuine, sincere and purposeful.
