Ogbomoso Togetherness Youths' Forum Worldwide (OTYFW) Organises Essay Writing Competition:

Ogbomoso Togetherness Youths' Forum Worldwide (OTYFW), has organised an Essay Writing Competition, 13th December 2022.

The essay competition was held to kick start the three week long activities, scheduled for celebrating the 15th year anniversary of the foremost Youth Group in Ogbomoso.

As an Inter-Local Government competition, participating secondary schools for the writing competition were drawn from all the five Local Governments making up the Ogbomoso zone.




The topic of the essay, 'Who Should be Blamed for Insecurity in Nigeria; Government or the People?', was approved by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Zonal Office, Kinnira Ogbomoso Oyo State, copied LIEs of Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire and held at Anglican Grammar School, Ọja tuntun, Ogbomoso.




The participating schools, students, and  their teachers were presented Certificate of Participation, duly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Education Committee, for the Planning/Organising Committee, as results will be relayed to the schools and prizes will also be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions at the Dinner/Award Night event.



According to the scheduled events, coming after this essay competition, are Indoor Games 16th and 17th December 2022, and Skills Acquisition 19th to 23rd December 2022, all coming up at Ogbomoso Youth Sports Arena, beside Idi Oro Baptist Church, Ogbomoso.



The celebration of the 15th year anniversary of OTYFW will be rapping it up with a Luncheon, Dinner/Award Night, on the 30th December 2022.

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control.
