Minister of State for Finance, Budget and National Planning Inaugurates Chief Ademola Olawale (AGBA DEMO), Others as Member of Governing Council, Centre for Management Development:


Honourable Minister of State for Finance, Budget and National Planning,  Prince Clem Ikanade Agba has inaugurated Chief Olawale Ademola (Agba Demo) and other Members of Governing Council, Centre for Management Development, today 19th January, 2023.

The inauguration came, following the approval of President Muhammadu Buhari to appoint Members of Governing Council Centre for Management Development, following the reconstitution of the Governing Councils of the Centre for Management Development.

The Presidential approval was conveyed through an announcement conveyed in a press release, issued by the Director of Information in the Federal Ministry of Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Folasade Boriowo last week.

The inauguration was held at about 1pm, at  the Office of the Honourable Minister of State Finance Budget and planning Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, 5th Floor Conference Room, Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning (Budget and National Planning Plot C31010, Adekunle Fajuiyi Street, Central Business District, Abuja.

In attendance, were all the newly appointed Members of the Governing Council Centre for Management Development, Chief Olawale Ademola (Agba Demo), Mrs Binta F. Shuaibu (Chairman); Barrister Marie O. Idaomi; Professor Muhammad A. Mainoma (mni); and, Mr Bitrus D. Chinoko (incumbent Director General of the Centre).

The membership of the Council of CMD also consists of a representative each of the following: Ministry of Budget and National Planning; National Universities Commission; Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association; National Youth Service Corps; Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation; Industrial Training Fund; and, Central Bank of Nigeria.

The appointment of Chief Ademola Olawale (Agba Demo) was made possible, through Chief Sunday Dare Honourable Minister of Youths and Sports Development, who  recommended and nominated the former Vice Chairman of Ogbomoso Central, to President Muhammadu Buhari.

LG Autonomy: Makinde Devices Another Means to Swindle LG Funds:

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control.
