PREFA Holds PVC Sensitisation Meeting at Apete Market, Ido LG Ibadan:

The Pragmatic Elites for Asiwaju (PREFA) has today 28th January 2023, held a Sensitization Programme on PVC towards the forthcoming general elections, at Apete Market and Motor Park, Ido Local Government.

The Programme, designed by PREFA in Oyo State, as a support group canvassing and mobilising electorates for the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2023 general elections.

PREFA, led by the State Coordinator Alhaja Fasilat Titilayo Adesina and Alhaji Abdulfatai Adesina Oriare, together with members from other LGs in Oyo State, sensitized the Market Men and Women, Students and all electorate for the collection of their PVC at their various wards and Local Governments.

 

The attendance was awesome, with the Baale of Oriare Community and other Community in Ido local Government, Landlord and landladies,Market women and Men, Students, 

 

as such Chief Idrees Adelani oriare Baale oriare Okeona, Chief abdul Rasaq Olayiwola, Balogun Oriare okeona, Chief, Saidulah Ayoremi Akinsipe, Baale awotan orisun ìbàdàn, Chief Sulaimon Oladiti Oriare, Eketa Baale Oriare, Chief Ahmoda Rufai Abolaji, Osi Baale oriare okeona, Iyaloja of Apete Market and other electorates were all in attendance for the programme.

 
 

After the programme, the campaign team extend the PVC Sensitisation drive to the Market centre and distribute the fliers of 'Pick Your PVC' for all and sundry, all over the market community.

Also, in attendance, was representative of Oloye Titilope Gbadamosi, the Assistant Director APC Presidential Campaign Council Southwest Zone.

LG Autonomy: Makinde Devices Another Means to Swindle LG Funds:

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank.
