2024 MOGA AWARDS- Ogo-Oluwa LG Chair, HON OLUWASEUN OJO BAGS 'LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD:

The Executive Chairman of Ogo-Oluwa Local Government, Honourable Oluwaseun Adesoye Ojo has bagged the 'Local Government Chairman of The Year Award.

The Local Government Chairman of the Year Award was presented to Prince Oluwaseun Ojo, by the organizers of 2024 MOGA (Meritorious Ogbomoso Ajilete) Awards, on Sunday 22nd December 2024.

The award ceremony, held at the Soun's Palace Oja'gbo Ogbomoso, had in attendance, dignitaries from all walks of life, who were also decorated with other categories of awards.

In his remarks, Hon. Oluwaseun Adesoye Ojo stated that, 

"I so much appreciate the organizers of this award ceremony, for deeming me fit for the Local Government Chairman of The Year Award Category.

You have noticed the good work our administration is doing, and you have decided to honor me; this award will serve as a motivation, for us to do greater developmental exploits, in terms of education, road infrastructure, community development, healthcare deliveries, and sustainable development.

I promise to do more, roll out effective and impactful administrative deliverables, for the betterment of Ogo-Oluwa Local Government, Oyo State and Nigeria at large".

Hon 'Seun Ojo concluded by saying, "Our administration, under the good leadership of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde will always prioritize the well being of the masses and the enter citizens of Ogo-Oluwa and Oyo State".

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control.
