10 Medals to End Paralympics Games. Flora Wins Gold and Lauretta Onyinye Wins Bronze



At the Olympics stadium Nigeria national Anthem was sang again in style as Flora Ugwunwa won Nigeria's 9th  medals in the last day of the event to make team Nigeria finish Paralympics games on a high note.

Lauretta Onyinye rapped the day up by also winning a bronze medal in the Short-put event.

Having went to a tournament with just 22 contingent, very small participants compare to other nations, still team Nigeria held their own with determination to succeed and the never say die spirit of a typical Nigeria was put to bear Flora Ugwunwa intrigues, artistry and suspense before the gold medal was quite worthy of note after she emerged winner of the javelin events with a season result of 19.39 sports class of F54.  


With this emphatic victory on the final day, Nigeria medal hauls have increased to Ten, 4 gold, 1 Silver and 5 Bronze.

Flora is a world and Paralympics record holder, she justified her rating and pedigree with a resounding victory.
