Ottasolo Pre-season: Ottasolo Battle 36 Lion in Opening Game

MFM, Remo, Sunshine in Group of Death It will be a battle between the host team of the maiden edition of the Ottasolo Pre-season tournament,  Ottasolo Int. FC and Lagos-based Football Club, 36 Lion, as the championship kickoff on Monday at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium,  Surulere, Lagos. In a draw conducted at the Havannah Hotel, Egbeda on Sunday, Ottasolo Int. FC seeded in Group A was joined by 36 Lion, Lobi Stars and Yobo FC. The opening game is scheduled to take place by 9am as the teams prepare to be the maiden winner of the championship.  Group B is arguably the Group of Death with Lagos-based Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, MFM FC seeded in the group alongside newly promoted side, Remo Stars, Sunshine Stars and Smart City. National Youth Games: Kwara, Osun battle for men football gold as FCT move up on medals table

Hosts Kwara will battle Osun State in the final of the men's football event of the National Youth Games in Ilorin. Kwara had earlier won gold in rugby and table tennis and will be seeking to add the men football gold to their collections. Zamfara, Yobe, Kebbi and Enugu States are yet to register a single medal at the ongoing Games. The Federal Capital Territory(FCT) have moved up to 4th position on the medals table with 7 gold medals already in their kitty. Team Delta still sit comfortably on the top of the log with a total number of 70 medals followed by Team Edo with 22 medals .

ABUJA PRESS STATEMENT FMYSD RELEASES 2021 NATIONAL SPORTS FEDERATIONS ELECTIONS RESULT  The election into 23 National Sports Federations was successfully conducted on September 30, 2021 at the Sports Hall, Package B of the National Stadium Abuja.  Thus, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development wishes to inform that only 22 Federations Elections was conducted as Badminton Federation Election was cancelled due to court injunction. Members of other various Federations went to the poll to elect their Presidents and Vice Presidents that will stir the affairs of the Federations in the next four years.  Elections of other institutions at the six-geopolitical zones had long been concluded as stated by Mr Peter Nelson Chairman of the Electoral Committee.
