Injury Hampers Onyekuru from Joining Eagles Camp for CAR Double Header


Olympiakos of Greece forward, Henry Onyekuru who got a late call-up on Saturday has revealed the reason behind his unavailability for the World Cup qualifier against the Central Africa Republic.

According to Onyekuru who spoke with www.ckdmedia.ng said

"Yes, I was actually got a late invitation via a text message on Saturday for the double header game against CAR but I sustained injury in the last match when representing my club, Olympiakos, that's the key reason why I couldn't make it.

"It is so disheartening because I always love to put on the Green-White-Green shirt. If not for the injury I would have landed in Lagos to come and represent my father land.

The former Galatasaray energetic winger wish his teammates best of luck as they are set to trade tackles against CAR

"I wish my teammates the very best of luck in the double header game. I know and sure the the Super Eagles will make Nigeria proud against the Central Africa Republic. Onyekuru concluded.
