Hogan Effiong, has expressed his gratitude to G12 Academy, for providing him the stage to stardom.

The offensive player is the rave of the moment in Latvia league.

He took a retrospective look at his early playing days with G12 academy, who gave him the platform to excel as a footballer. 

“Today, I am in top team in Latvia league. I played European Conference League on the account of our qualification through our league last season.

“G12 helped build my stamina and skills In football. I will forever be grateful to G12 Academy”.

Hogan Effiong had an exceptional performance in the league. He scored a goal and gave 2 assists. 

He has got 6 goals and 4 assists, this season. 

Though his team has been knocked out on penalties against CSK Sofia of Bulgaria, as their home game ended in a draw, followed by extra time and penalties.

Hogan is another player making Nigeria proud in the Latvia league with his outstanding performance in the league .

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank. President Tinubu has approved the completion of the dualization of the Oyo-Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State, Monday 3rd March 2025. The approval was revealed by the Special Adviser to President (Media and Public Communications), Chief Sunday Dare CON FNIS, in a release he made available on his X account, after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Monday afternoon. The newly approved road completion project, which will now be handled by Mssrs JRB Construction Co.
