Sunday Dare Bags MOFTI Award

SUNDAY DARE Bags 'The Most Outstanding Friend of Ibadanland' (MOFI) Award:

The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has today, the 20th day of June 2021 honoured The Hon Minister of Youth and Sports Development, The Agbààkin of Ogbomosoland, Chief Sunday Dare, with the 'Most Outstanding Friend of Ibadanland' (MOFI) award, at Ibadan House, Ibadan Oyo State. This was in appreciation of the Minister's immense and developmental contributions to Ibadanland and Oyo State at large.

The event had in attendance, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, the Baloguns of Ibadanland, executives and members of the CCII, and other numerous eminent personalities.

In his responses, the Hon Minister, expressed his joy for such great honour bestowed on him; he said "I am humbled, and appreciative of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, all the Baloguns, executives and members of CCII, and all the people of Ibadan for this award".

He also "considered the award as a clarion call to work and do more towards the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State in general, across all the zones (Ibadan, Oke Ogun, Ogbomoso, Ibarapa and Oyo)".

He however used the medium to express displeasure on the rising spate of insecurity across Oyo State, which the state has not experienced for the past eight years, and called on  Governor Makinde to do what is right as expected of him, such as asking for support from the federal government, out of many other options that can be explored, so as to prevent Oyo State from slipping into anarchy.
