By Shittu Abede The 2020 EndSARS protest was a watershed moment in Nigerian history, highlighting the frustrations and disillusionments of the country's youth against Nigeria Police, which snowballed into national crisis.  However, the devastating consequences of the protest, including loss of lives and property, should serve as cautionary tales, as Nigerian youths consider protesting against the Tinubu presidency, it is essential to reflect on the lessons of EndSARS and the potential risks of such actions. While I agree, that Nigerians and her youthful population have every right to protest, we must consider that,  President Tinubu is still in the early days of his administration, we can not judge his four years with a year in office and it is unfair to judge his performance without giving him a chance to implement his policies and programs. These athletes do not  primarily compete for themselves, they compete for Nigeria.They have shown dexterity in various sports, proving their mettle competition after competition; they are committed to bringing honour and glory to our nation . They stand for Nigeria on the international stage, the biggest sporting event, the Olympics against all odds. It is only right for  Nigerians not to endorse any actions back home that will be a distraction to Team Nigeria other than to rally their support behind our sports ambassadors.
