Tinubu's Aide Interacts with Ojoo, Akinyele LG Youths:

_Urge youths to shun Violent, destructive protest_

President Tinubu's aide, Oloye Titilope Gbadamosi, had an interactive session with Ojoo Youth Organization, Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State today, Saturday 27th July 2024.

The Special Assistant to the President on Youth Initiatives (Delivery and Monitoring) was welcomed by Hon Adebass, Ojoo youth president Mr Tunde Owoade with other executives and members of the organization.

The meeting, served as advocacy and sensitization to the youths in Ojoo and Akinyele Local Government, publicising the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu.

Oloye Titilope urged the youths to key into different programs of the present day administration, as such Nigerian Youth Academy (NIYA), Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), Nigerian Youth Investment Fund, among others, as she stressed the imperativeness of keeping up to date with useful information, as touching opportunities, developments and programs 

She further stressed the needs for the youths to scale up, upgrade and register small scale businesses, in order to meet up with the criteria for different programs, goals and objectives of the government to support and develop business enterprises, as she advised the youths to be on the lookout for various interventions of the government.

Conclusively, Hon. Titilope Gbadamosi urged the youths at all levels, to embrace peaceful protest, if at all they will want to exercise their rights, but shun violence and destructive tendencies capable of taking away peace, development and progressive change.

LG Autonomy: Makinde Devices Another Means to Swindle LG Funds:

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank.
