As the Digital and physical world continues to blend into one, another phase of contactless technology has been introduced into Nigeria via "BleanQ", developed by Zkyte Technologies. M.D, Zkyte Technologies, Ayoola Dawodu officially launched the easy-way-to-life technology in Abuja on Saturday. The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has appointed former international athlete and now Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Mr Yussuf Alli as the Coordinator of Team Nigeria to the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. Alli, who was the captain of Team Nigeria to two consecutive Olympic Games in 1984 and 1988 is expected to bring his experiences as a former athlete and his expertise as an administrator to bear on Nigeria's participation at the Games. He will, in collaboration with the Ministry, coordinate and ensure the success of Team Nigeria by working as a bridge between the athletes, federations and the Ministry, ensuring there is synergy in the team. Nigeria finished in 9th place at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia winning nine gold, nine silver and six bronze medals while her best performance ever was in Victoria, Canada in 1994 where she won eleven gold, thirteen silver and thirteen bronze medals to finish 4th.

In what would represent another landmark achievement to his administration, Nigeria's Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Sunday Dare , on Saturday declared Nigeria's first ever National Para-Sports Games open at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja. While declaring the Games open, the minister stated that Para Sports has contributed in no small measure in bringing glory to Nigeria, both at the Olympics and Commonwealth Games over the years and thus, para sports deserve utmost recognition. The Youth Wing of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State held their maiden meeting today 6th April, 2022. The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Leaders from the Southwest Zone of Nigeria had paid a solidarity visit to the newly elected National Youth Leader of the APC, Dayo Israel, on the 3rd day of April, 2022. The APC Regional leaders met with the National Youth Leader in Lagos, after meeting with some important personality and party stalwarts. Issues discussed centered on how to work together for the betterment of our people, most especially youth and youth inclusion across board. Present at the session, the Oyo State Youth Leader, Prince John Oyetunji Aremu, in his  submission, he said "  I seek for the inclusion of Oyo state youths among the upcoming national appointments, so also we need your help because we don’t have a governor". Youth Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Seyi Tinubu in Lagos, on the 2nd day of April, 2022. The visit to the son of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the first of it's kind. Present among the youth leaders, was Prince John Oyetunji Aremu, the Oyo State APC Youth Leader. Many issues were discussed, one was the Southwest Agenda.  In his contribution, during a brief meeting, Prince John Oyetunji Aremu said, "Oyo state needs the maximum support in order to win in the next general elections and also on the ambition of Asiwaju." The youth leaders moved to Lagos for the visit, after taking part in a solidarity rally for the APC Gubernatorial Candidate in the forthcoming July Governorship Elections in Ekiti State.

The Oyo State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has enjoined the populace to employ this fasting period for prayers. Prince John Oyetunji Aremu made this know today, while identifying with Muslim faithfuls in APC, Oyo State and Nigeria at large. He said "my people, let's pray together, work together, for the progress of this nation; may Almighty Allah answer our prayers". This is in line with the fasting period for Muslims, which started on the 2nd day of April, across the globe, as the crescent was sighted on the 1st day of April, 2022.  The spiritual exercise will be on for 30 days; filled with sober reflections, acts of  prayers for forgiveness, mercy, favor and blessings unto God.
