S/W APC Youth Leaders Visit The National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Leaders from the Southwest Zone of Nigeria had paid a solidarity visit to the newly elected National Youth Leader of the APC, Dayo Israel, on the 3rd day of April, 2022.

The APC Regional leaders met with the National Youth Leader in Lagos, after meeting with some important personality and party stalwarts.

Issues discussed centered on how to work together for the betterment of our people, most especially youth and youth inclusion across board.

Present at the session, the Oyo State Youth Leader, Prince John Oyetunji Aremu, in his  submission, he said "  I seek for the inclusion of Oyo state youths among the upcoming national appointments, so also we need your help because we don’t have a governor".

This was part of the consultation drive of the Southwest youth leaders.

Other state youth leaders from Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Lagos, and Ogun were present.

LG Autonomy: Makinde Devices Another Means to Swindle LG Funds:

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank.
