COMMISSIONING OF DAD FOUNDATION SPORT ARENA OGBOMOSO-Kemmywrites

 

Today 10th April, 2022 marks another historical event in the land of Ogbomoso in Oyo state, as Minister of Youth and Sports Development; Agba Akin of Ogbomosoland, in person of Chief SUNDAY DARE, commission a Sport Center, for the usage of the people of Ogbomoso land, primarily the youth of the town.

Different dignitaries were in attendance to grace this occasion, among the dignitaries present is the Iyalode of Ogbomoso land, Dr Akanni (Akanni bookshop),the registrar federal polytechnic Ayede, Rev'd. Adeyanju of Sabo Baptist Church Ogbomoso just to mention few.

Sunday Dare has been a good ambassador of Ogbomoso as evidences of his impact is obvious and been greatly felt by the people of the land.

Our prayers for the minister is God's divine protection and more enablement to move our great land forward.

I was there also as part of this historical event.

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank.
