SHITTU OLAITAN ABEDE, DISTRIBUTES RAMADAN PACKAGES TO CONSTITUENTS IN OGBOMOSO NORTH

As Muslims are about to start the second Tenth phase of Ramadan, the frontline aspirant for the seat of Ogbomoso North House of Assembly, Shittu Olaitan Abede, has made provisions for his constituents in the progression of the holy month. 

The gift packages, handled by Shittu Abede’s team were distributed to individuals, groups and associations in the constituency. 

Shittu Olaitan Abede, while distributing the items to the beneficiaries, enjoined all Muslims to use the period of Ramadan to seek the face of God and urged all elite in the society to extend giving hands to the needy at this time. 

Abede, whose slogan is Ire Akari (goodness will go round) said the welfare of his people, particularly Indigent party members, widows, and aged women are all he cares for.

“ Ramadan is a period when we must look out for one another, it is a season that draws us closer to God through our acts of fasting from food and other self-serving activities.”

“I am particularly interested in the welfare of my people at this time. I know what it is to observe the Ramadan, this is why I have given this gift tokens to each and everyone of us, to ease the process a little."

A beneficiary, Mrs Zainab Aderinto thanked Shittu Olaitan Abede, saying, “ Ire Akari is already showing us what to expect when he becomes our representative. When you have a caring leader, it is obvious in the way he sees to his people’s welfare. Seeing old men and women happily collecting the Ramadan gifts is a statement. Ire ti n Kari (Goodness is indeed going round) “ she said.

Each Ramadan pack included Semovita, Beans, Milk and other beverages.
