CORRELATION BETWEEN FLUENCY, ELOQUENCE AND EFFICIENCY IN NIGERIA DEMOCRACY- Kemmywrites

Politics in Nigeria and in general has been characterized by a special feature called MANIFESTO.

A platform that avails the intending candidates to make a public declaration of policy,aims and their intent intention in an up coming election.

I listened carefully and attentively to the uninterrupted,well tailored and well harnessed speech delivered by the present vice president of the federal republic of Nigeria in person of Prof. Yemi Osibajo as he delivered his speech and drive home his points convincingly with basic proofs and facts,itemizing why he should be considered the next president of our great country.

personally, I got attracted to the delivery of the speech as he logically and sequentially presents his facts and proofs.

The fluency, eloquence and proportionality of his speech got me fascinated.

I am not in anyway canvassing for him, but this aroused a big question in my heart:

Could this be enough criteria for selection in the upcoming election?

What key Factors should we the citizen consider in choosing our leaders in the forth coming election?

I put this across to us good citizens of the federal republic of Nigeria and my prayer is that,we shall all be guided in our choices of election this time to accrue us "EFFICIENCY" in government.

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank.
