Grand Reception for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Medalists.

Team Nigeria and The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare hosted by Ambassador Abubakar Moriki Husaini, at the Nigerian Embassy in Tokyo Japan.

The Team Nigeria was hosted by His Excellency Ambassador Abubakar Moriki Husaini.


The Team Nigeria was led by the Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development Mr. Sunday Dare. It could be recalled that two athletes won medals for the Team Nigeria: Blessing Oborududu and Ese Brume.

It was a reception where Team Nigeria as well as commissioner of Youth and Sports Development Bayelsa State, Daniel Ighali as well as NOC Chairman, Eng'r Habu Gumel along side other Notable dignitaries were in attendance in that reception.

LG Autonomy: Makinde Devices Another Means to Swindle LG Funds:

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank.
