Last Batch of Team Nigeria Finally Departs Tokyo Today
The last batch of the Team Nigeria to the Tokyo Paralympics departed the shores of Nigeria this morning, via an Ethiopian Airline.
The Japanese Ambassador to Nigeria was at the bairport to receive the Nigerian Delegations. The Nigerian Delegations was led by the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Nebolisa Abako.
Among other notable dignitaries in the last batch to Tokyo, were Media Aide to the Minister of Youth and Sports Development Mr Kọla Daniel Adeyanju, SA Projects Architect Biodun Owoborode, the General Manager of NTA Mr. Fẹmi Johnson, and host of others.
The Paralympics will commence on Tuesday, 26th August 2021.
It would be recalled, that in the last edition Paralympics, the Team Nigeria hauled 12 medals. The Team is now hopeful to surpass the last record.
