OLUWAFEMIAYO FOLASHADE WINS ANOTHER GOLD MEDAL AT THE POWERLIFTING EVENT FOR NIGERIA




Nigeria Para power powerlifting Athlete Oluwafemiayo Folashade is not left out of the party as far as Gold is concerned in the para power lifting. Oluwafemiayo joined the like of Latifat Ahmed,Bose  Omolayo after she have won Gold Medal for Nigeria in the ongoing Paralympic game.


Oluwafemiayo Folashade shows a statement of intend that led to a formidable track for other to follow with a world record of 152kg.  she eventually won in a style. She set another new record with 152kg that she is holding presently as the world record holder in this 86kg category. 


Oluwafemiayo Folashade surprised the entire spectators and sport lovers across the globe after she lifted 147kg,149kg,151kg , 152kg and break the world record which led to standing ovation from from the scanty spectators.

Her lift of 142 147 152 that   happens to be the lift that gave her silver medal.


With the amazing performance from olawafamiayo, and  loveline team Nigeria now have 3 gold 1 silver and 2 broze medals, at the ongoing Paralympics Games in Tokyo.

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank. President Tinubu Approves the Completion of the Dualization of the Oyo-Ogbomoso road- Sunday Dare Reveals:

President Tinubu has approved the completion of the dualization of the Oyo-Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State, Monday 3rd March 2025. The approval was revealed by the Special Adviser to President (Media and Public Communications), Chief Sunday Dare CON FNIS, in a release he made available on his X account, after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Monday afternoon. The newly approved road completion project, which will now be handled by Mssrs JRB Construction Co.
