Aisha Oversees Aisha Buhari Invitational Tournament Draw



The event took place at the Eko Hotel. Nigeria and Cameroon were the seeded sides and topped groups A and B respectively.



Nigeria as seeded team in Group A are drawn against Mali and Morocco. They will play at the waterfront Mobolaji Johnson Arena.



The power-packed Group B will feature Cameroon, South Africa and Ghana and it is easily the group of death.

Nigeria will therefore open their account with a clash with Morocco on 13 September.

_Directs LG Chairs to Open another Account to receive Funds_ In another turn of events, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has deviced another way to swindle Local Government funds. Governor Makinde, yet to come to terms, on the Supreme Court ruling over LG Autonomy, has been trying all possible means to ensure that, the funds accruing to the local governments in Oyo State remains under his control. To further sabotage the process of transferring allocations directly to the LG accounts, Governor Makinde has directed all LG Chairmen in Oyo State, to open accounts with First Bank.
