Sports Ministry salutes Team Nigeria Athletes

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has hailed Team Nigeria athletes for their resounding achievement and participation at the just concluded Tokyo Olympics in Japan.



The last batch of Team Nigeria have returned to Abuja and the athletes and officials expresses satisfaction at the organisation level put together by Japan.


Commenting on the success of Team Nigeria athletes, Ministry said:


“Hats off to all the athletes who achieved so many great performances".



The Ministry stressed that the government of the day will continue to promote youth developments 

through sports related activities.


"Our athletes really performed to the best of their abilities and we salute all of them.



"We believe through hard work, discipline and character, Nigeria athletes will continue to compete favourably on the world stage."

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, Chief Sunday Dare CON, has donated a bus to the Renewed Hope Ambassadors of Ogbomoso North Local Government. The Presidential Spokesman made the donation today Friday 20th February, 2026 in Ogbomoso, at the APC Local Government Office Apake.  _Preaches Love and Cooperation_ The meeting  started at exactly 10:00am in the morning at the Oyo central senatorial APC  party office in Alagbon, Owode Oyo zone.
